(NB: this game is also suitable for basic Financial Awareness training)

Client requirements:

Our client wanted an interactive business game to focus the Finance Team of the various divisions on the importance of cash management.

Course details:

The game chosen by the client was a one day game. The full day was used to play the game to illustrate the importance of managing cash in the business.

Game details:

The game was played by five teams of 6 players (30 delegates in total).

Each team was responsible for running a building firm engaged in three types of contract: Commercial, Refurbishment & Industrial. The teams made decisions about the number of sub contractors to employ each round of the game. The teams all had limited resources and funds and needed to ensure that they used those to create the best financial result while maintaining their cash position.

Once the decisions were made the teams plotted these on their game boards and moved their cash around the board to reflect the costs of the decisions made.
