I joined Coopers & Lybrand in 1998 (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) after completing my degree in Biology and Biochemistry. After doing a broad degree. When it came to a career choice I decided to specialise in tax. I gained my ATT and ATII (CTA) qualifications at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

I have since then not only worked for PwC, but also as an Inspector of Taxes and in training with BPP Leeds, where I taught not only tax but Financial Accounting and Reporting.

I use my knowledge of having been on both sides of the tax fence to explain the thinking behind and the effects of the UK's tax legislation.
